AGM

The first meeting of each year, now always held in October, is the Annual General Meeting, to which guests are not admitted.

The main business is the induction of the new Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson (nominated by the Committee), to hold office for one year. The election of a new Committee member to fill the vacancy which occurs annually in accordance with the rules following the retirement of the Immediate Past Chairperson. The election of other Committee members if any casual vacancies have arisen and the adoption of the accounts, together with comments on the activities of the preceding session. The incoming Chairperson presents their programme for discussion.
